| This faery wand is made with wood found here in the Arizona Pines. I only collect fallen branches from trees. Gifts from Mother Earth! Both my husband and I do the nature inspired wood burning designs into the wood. I do the beading and wire working, as well as adding the crystal. I actually groove out a hollow inside of the branch and fit the crystal down inside and secure it with epoxy, so it is nice and snug! Wire working is done in copper wire. There are two wraps of tassels, one done in natural leather, the other in colorful ribbons. Both sets of ribbons hang down about 8 inches in length. Entire length of the wand is 28 and 1/2 inches. With the natural curves and twists the wand stands at 26 inches tall. Average width of wood is about 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch. The crystal is a 6 sided Quartz crystal natural point that sticks out from the wand about 1 and 1/8 inches |
