| Jodi Henry - Lampwork Vessel - "Unraveled" Here is a GORGEOUS lampwork vessel or amphora bottle. It can be filled with your favorite perfumes or essential oils, or even put a tiny scroll inside with a poem or wish on it. I have been playing with lots of fun fibers lately in my crochet endeavors and this vessel reminded me of all the gorgeous textures and colors of the yarns. Like a glass painting of all of the colorful yarn ends......."unraveled". When I pulled this vessel out of the kiln I noticed one of the encased bubbles had risen to the top in the annealing process. These bubbles are harmless and just usually leave added character and depth in the design. On the back side of the vessel, this one little bubble decided to fight it's way out and created a tiny little concaved hole in just the encasing part of the vessel, (the clear outer layer). This does not effect the design or integrity of the vessel, as the hole does not go through into the core, but was created during the encasing (second layer of glass) process. I just wanted to mention it so that it is not a surprise to the new owner. (picture below), Just consider it a beauty mark!
