| Deerskin Medicine Bag - "The Journey" This medicine bag is handmade by me from real deer skin. It has a gorgeous rich, earthy, sun-kissed tan color to it. It has a deerskin strap to wear around the neck, to hang on a rear-view mirror, or any other place you like! I have hand beaded onto a stacked leather medallion in Deep Red, Fuchsia Pink, and Earthy Green around a beautiful polymer clay face. She has a shimmery-tarnished copper coloring to her face, with lots of blues coming through. She represents the Wandering Spirit. The curious Goddess Soul that longs for adventure and discovery and has to go just a few more miles to see what is around the next bend. I have hand burned designs around the stacked leather medallion, continuing with the mandala design. The back of the medicine bag has a feather and spiral design burned into it. The spiral represents the Life Journey we are all on. The twists, the turns, the ups and downs that we all must take as we go on our own adventures. And when you get to where you are going...... You will find a little secret inside of the medicine bag to help you...... The key to open the door of your destiny! A real skeleton key hangs from the strap as you open your medicine bag. The key is adorned with some sparkling dangle tassels wire wrapped with Sterling Silver, filled with shiny Austrian crystals, and sterling silver charms! The pouch has lots of leather tassels!! I have hand burned designs into the tassels as well. The dangles are wire wrapped in copper and are filled with beads and stones, and each tassel ends with a copper disk that measures 10mm in diameter. The gemstones in the tassels are: Garnet: For passion, motivation, and positive thoughts, it also helps to bring spirituality to relationships, sparks creativity, and aids in protection. Turquoise: For wisdom, for healing of the spirit and soul, for greater understanding, deeper communication, and calming of the mind and body. The body of the bag measures 3 and 1/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide. The tassels measure 3 and 1/2 inches to 4 and 3/4 inches long, making a total length for the pouch 7 and 7/8 inches long.
