Lampwork Bead Focal - "Seven Sisters"

I love Astronomy and Mythology! When this bead came out of the
kiln it instantly reminded me of the "Pleiades" star cluster in the
constellation Taurus. This star cluster is also referred to as "The
Seven Sisters", or the "fly" on Taurus' back. They were the
daughters of the Titan, Atlas. They are the sisters of Calypso, Hyas,
the Hyades, and the Hesperides.
The cluster can be seen with the naked eye on clear nights!

The colors in this bead are gorgeous! Deep Aquamarine and Teal
combine to make the luscious color of the Oceans. Cobalt blue rivers
run through the bead along with Ivory ribbons. Real silver was used
in this design, which turned into a Golden glow in the bead, along with
shiny balls of gold color. Beautiful!!

Lampwork bead measures 7/16 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch.
Ruler shows measurement in inches.
Bead was made on a 1/8" mandrel for a larger hole that comfortably
fits leather or silk ribbons.

This lampwork bead was handmade with high quality Moretti(Italian)
and Lauscha glass and has been properly kiln annealed.
