| Lampwork Necklace A little book about the "Ocean" This little treasure is perfect for a lover of the seas and for that Mermaid inside of you! A tiny little charm book constructed from copper and base metals, hand dapped and stamped by me and designed to be a pendant for your "ocean" keepsakes and treasures!! One of my handmade lampwork beads adorn the front of the book, it is a little starfish in colors of the vibrant ocean and sealife! There are 11 little pages created from card-stock in different patterns and hues that reminded me of the sea and riveted inside of the book. On the first three pages I have printed and mounted little sayings about the ocean. The first pages reads: "For whatsover from one place doth fall, Is with the tide unto another brought: For there is nothing lost, that may be found, If sought. Edmund Spencer" The second page reads: "I have heard the mermaids Singing each to each T.S. Eliot" The third page reads: "The Sea, Once it casts it's spell Holds one in it's net of wonder forever Jacques Cousteau" The remaining 8 pages are left blank for you to fill with your own "ocean" inspirations, love notes, secrets, and treasures from the sea! The little book charm measures approx. 1 and 1/2 inches tall by itself, and 1 and 1/4 inches wide. The full height, including the copper loop is approx. 2 inches tall. It is riveted with copper rivets on both front and back. Both the front and back cover are hand-dapped base metal with silver coloring. The wire working is done in copper and base metal with silver color. The tag reads "OCEAN" and has been hand stamped by me! The book charm comes on a Sterling silver jump ring and a Sterling silver ball chain. The chain measures 24 inches.
