Luke's Lampwork

My lampwork beads are handmade by me with Moretti glass.
They have all been properly kiln annealed.

Hi, my name is Luke and I am 15 years old (this picture is a few years old). I have been making glass creations for a few years now. I made my first bead when I was 10 years old. My Mom has given me many more lessons since then and I am getting better with each session!

I have also been helping my Mom for a few years with other lampworking tasks, such as cleaning her beads, dipping mandrels in bead release, and helping to name her bead sets!
It is fun to finally be doing these things for my own creations!
I enjoy picking out my own color combinations and coming up with unique names for my beads.

My Mom has made this webpage for me to show off some of my work and also to start selling some of the nicer creations that I make.

This set was for my first bead exchange hosted on the Wet Canvas forum for all different kinds of artists. I was even featured on a T-shirt with my bead set!

I love the way the black outlines form where these two colors meet on the beads. My mom said they looked like little Robin eggs or Southwestern Turquoise.
