Sterling and Lampwork
Totem Necklace
"Aguila de Luz"

This gorgeous Native American inspired pendant is one of my favorites!
I came upon the design in a rather unexpected way.
I
had been playing with the idea of making an entire bird out of glass. But
everytime I got to the wings,I could not think of a way to do them
exactly
how I had in mind
.
So I decided to finish the bird with no wings.
I held on to the bird for awhile, not knowing what to do for wings.
Then on a trip to the mountains, I had taken my jewelry supplies to play
with some ideas and t
he bird was born! I think being surrounded by nature
had much to do with my inspiration.

I have added her into our "Totem" series with our other Native American
inspired designs. The name "Aguila de Luz" means "Eagle of Light" in
spanish.

/2 inches tall and is approx. 1/2 of an inch
